Foot Locker

FootFall help Foot Locker measure the performance of their business on a pan-European basis

Foot Locker opened its first store in California in 1974 pioneering the art of specialty athletic retailing by offering customers something that was virtually unheard of – the opportunity to select from hundreds of different athletic shoes under one roof. Since then, Foot Locker has grown to become the largest athletic footwear and clothing retailer in the world. Today, the company continues to break new ground and challenge contemporary retail standards, and in so doing, has turned the “sport” of shopping for sports shoes into a theatrical and entertainment experience.

The company has more than 2,614 stores, worldwide spread across 13 countries from North America and Europe to Australia and Asia. Since arriving in Europe in the mid-80’s, there are now over 400 European stores.
